Centre County Can Help Line

Centre County Can Help provides drug and alcohol hotline services for Centre County.  Can Help has the ability to serve, not only clients with drug and alcohol issues, but also dual diagnosis clients who need mental health services.    In addition, Can Help coordinates after hours detoxification requests through the mental health delegates using the guidelines established by Centre County Drug and Alcohol.  Individuals who need support, even in the evening or on weekends, whether it be for information or emergency referrals for treatment, can call 1-800-643-5432, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Can Help also provides mobile crisis intervention services for individuals who may be having a mental health crisis.  This support is available to anyone in Centre County.

Centre County Drug and Alcohol

Centre County Drug and Alcohol is a county-administered program of community-based services through a state-wide network of providers. Centre County Drug and Alcohol’s mission is to develop and implement a service delivery system to meet the needs of affected individuals in their home community. Services are tailored to respect individual need and dignity.  The goal of Centre County Drug and Alcohol is the prevention and treatment of drug and alcohol abuse and addiction.

Individuals who have general questions about services are welcome to contact the Centre County Drug and Alcohol staff at 814-355-6744 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, to discuss the various options available.
